Our fantastic diverse team consists of over 65 people in Zürich and in the US with strong backgrounds in Product, Computer & Data science, Business Development, Marketing, Finance and Human Resources.

 

We are looking for our Head of HR (newly created position) who will develop and drive the HR strategy of Locatee and enable us to scale our growth plans globally. 

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and engaging personality who enjoys working in a dynamic scale-up environment. 

 

What you will do

 

As part of the Leadership Team, participate in the development of the Company and Business Plans and:

  • Be the champion of Locatee's HR Strategy by bringing it to the next level to meet our accelerating hiring plans. 
  • Develop our HR strategy and our plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety etc.
  • Working with, and through the Leadership Team, lead the development of our culture across the organisation to enable us to achieve the aims of our Company Plan.
  • Lead the strategic direction of every aspect of our HR efforts.
  • Help the company grow in Switzerland and the US and align with one global culture.
  • Effectively structure benefits programs and shape our talent development to attract and retain top talent.
  • Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
  • Lead, develop and guide our HR team (currently consisting of two people).
  • As a leader, you inspire the people and act as a coach. You ensure we continue to be a fast-paced, pragmatic learning environment where employees are engaged and grow.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with labor unions.

 

What you bring

 

  • Proven experience in a similar role. 
  • Prior experience working in a growth- or scaleup startup.
  • Entrepreneurial thinker with proactive and pragmatic mentality.
  • Hands-on and problem solving attitude.
  • Full understanding of the way a startup operates to meet its objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge about local and international Human Resource Processes, employment legislation, and legal regulations.
  • Strong experience in People development.
  • Excellent knowledge of all aspects of HR management.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Team player.
  • Fluent in English, German is a bonus
  • Valid Swiss work permit or EU passport.
